Maria Ready joined the Park Avenue Dermatology practice in 2022. Maria is a board certified Physician Associate (PA) who completed her Masters of Health Science degree at the University of Maryland – Anne Arundel College collaborative program in 2016. Her studies included internships with the VA in Baltimore, the University of Maryland, and Johns-Hopkins Medical Center. She was offered a position in dermatology soon after graduating the program. She furthered her dermatology studies through the Society of Dermatology PA program and in 2021 was awarded the title of Diplomate Fellow. Prior to becoming a PA she received her Masters in Counseling Psychology degree graduating summa cum laude from National University in San Diego, CA. She worked as a school counselor and a college counselor while rearing her three children. A native of Orange Park and married to a veteran, she has resided in various military communities throughout the United States but now calls Clay County home. She is trained in addressing problems related to acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, preforming skin checks, identifying skin cancers and other skin conditions. She preforms skin biopsies and skin cancer surgeries, as well as other therapeutic and cosmetic procedures. Mrs. Ready is a member of the Society of Dermatology PAs, the American Academy of PAs, and the Florida Academy of PAs. She is bilingual in Spanish.
