Rachel E. Dykes, DO, FAAD, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Dykes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Neuroscience. She earned her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. Following medical school, she returned to Knoxville to complete a Transitional Year Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Dr. Dykes then moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she completed her dermatology residency at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital. During her training, she worked closely with Dr. George Schmieder and Dr. Shawn Schmieder—an experience that inspired her to continue her career at Park Avenue Dermatology.

Outside of work, Dr. Dykes enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching college football, and playing with her dog, Lily. She is excited to serve the greater Jacksonville area and is dedicated to providing exceptional dermatologic care.
